There may conflict of interest. But that is no reason to stop him contesting elections for crime done by his son-in-law. In a country where people with heinous crimes like rape, murder can contest elections of running the nation. Why cannot someone with a son-in-law who did betting be barred. Whatever punishment as to be given, son-in-law has to face. I would say this is nothing but battle for power on the back of SC being played here. Nothing to do with cricket.
why ? he enjoys the support of all board members. he is intelligent & knows how to manipulate by hook & crook. he has the authority of changing BCCI's constitution as per his convenience. he is lord, he is master. he is almighty at BCCI. then why should he resign ?
Justice can be done to the world of Indian and International Cricket only if Mr. Srinivasan and the entire goup of his ardent supporters are are removed, disgraced from the Cricket leadership.
should be made into a listed company and should pay taxes like any other company. The subsidiaries of BCCI should be made into corporates then only its functioning will be transparent. politicians should be kept out. People like amit shah, jaitley, laalu, pawar should voluntarily quit now.

All Politicians and Businessman should be debarred and banned from contesting the BCCI Elections.
What business they have to conduct in a sporting organization. We have lot of Ex-Cricketers and sports persons to manage the affairs of the game.
At best Retired Army officials with proven administrative skills and sporting abilities should be allowed to take over the reins of sporting organization.
In fact politicians should be eliminated from the state Cricket associations as well. The position is being misused for narrow parochial aims.
