I also remember our test player late Raman Lamba who succumbed to head injury while playing a match in Bangla Desh. Unfortunately the sad incident of Lamba's death did not get much publicity as of today's IT connected world.

Terribly sad and shocking. May his soul rest in peace. Deep condolences to his family.

Hope authorities learn some lessons after this terrible incident and make the protection gear and game more safe for players.
