magaine how Sunil Gavaskar has scored 13 centuries against WI pace battery without wearing helmet throughout his career. No wonder he is best batsman against fast bowling
cricket is regarded gentleman's game then why this animosity by throwing bouncers and short pitched deliveries. my sympathy to phil's family and pray for early recovery
How did the ball hit straight onto his head? Didnt he wear a helmet? Maybe he hit on the temple. This goes to show that anything might happen on the cricket field and all necessary precautions need to be taken. I sincerely pray and surely he will recover and play good long innings in his days.
Raman Lamba was killed by a bouncer bowled in a match against Bangla Desh. India captain Nari Contractor survived a head injury but his career was ended by the bouncer that hit him in a match against West Indies.

Raman Lamba Was fielding when he was hit and that too near the batsman without Helmet

lamba was nt killed by a bouncer.he was hit by the ball fielding at short leg.the batsmen was mehrab hossian.

Raman Lamba not killed by bouncer. He was at forward short leg fielding for a spinner.
