Australia sport reeling in shock

Does this have a bearing on forthcoming Indo-Aus test series? I see Brad Haddin rushing to his mate's rescue and Dave Warner standing by his side at boundary first aid.

Does it rock the Aussies psychologically?

Please ban short pitched deliveries and let one play in the spirit of the game. I am shocked and wish him a speedy recovery.

Blame it on poor helmets, ICC safety committee, respective boards and helmet manufacturers..

You don't throw the baby away with bath waters.. Don't kill the game..

Failure of sports administration and management...
by kartikeya on Nov 25, 2014 04:20 PM

This incident is but a failure on the side of cricketing administration and management.

Proper tools and protective equipment should have been created to ensure that sports injuries are prevented or at least reduced to a minimum.

The tragic deaths of Raman Lamba and now the critical injury of Phil Hughes, all show how deficient injury preventing equipment in cricket is.

Hope cricket administrators and managers look into this and ensure better body armour to prevent deaths and injuries of this sort.
