Please play Varun and Umesh in the squad. They are the genuine quick bowlers. They require exposure and support in helpful conditions of Australia. Do not go back to using medium pacers. I hope there is somebody listening to me.
Re: Indian batsmen sparkle in drawn match vs Cricket Australia XI

they are ones to watch for, they are more hungry to shine then the accomplished players, remember that..the sparks begins here and ends being a raging sensation world over...
It's good that Indian batsmen got some practice to stay at the crease. The quality of Aus bowlers even at an A level game is very good to trouble any batsmen. The real testing of Indian Team, however, will be against the main Aus Team. A two-day match is not the appropriate format for any side to show their talent.

Ashwin is a waste on any wicket. He is constantly being highlighted as a full-time spinner along with inappropriate chances given jadeja and some other regular non-spinners.

who is a proven regular spinner outside India? Amit Mishra is tried in England in 2011 and T20 final when he lost the nerve and review his results in Cricinfo.
Karn Sharma is a starter and might get a chance on this tour. Axar is just starting out with 1 full season of ranji cricket behind him.
Who are we talking about when we are seeking replacement. Ashwin is useless i agree.. but who is better?
Indian Cricket Team always decide to play positive cricket in abroad test match cricket series, and by doing so, they get perish quickly on that day. They are not playing positive, at all. And on the top, they have got various reasons behind their performances. But this time around, we all want them to play in positive frame of mind, with consistency. May utmost Best wishes for them on World-Cup, 2015. And our Indian Indian Cricket Team, should not come back at their home, with Empty handed. We all want to see them, with World-Cup, once again. Good-Luck to you, Team India.
Scores 264 in flat pitch and can not score 10 runs abroad against school team and they call him better than Tiwary, Rayadu, Badri, Shewag... he he he...

He is still a better option compared to dhawan, as rohit still scores good many a times on good tracks and against good bowlers.
Ishant,Jadeja,Rahul, have to be tested while continuing with Shikar,Rahane,Karan,Shami, Varun,Saha,Rohit along with skipper Virat so that final test eleven can be picked
I think Murali,Dhawan, pujara, kohli, saha, bkumar, ishant are certain to play in the first test other places have to be fought between Shikar, Rahane,Rohit, Raina for two batting spots and Varun, shami, aswin, karan, jadeja have to fight for two places in the bowling department

How come Dhawan is in the team, but Shikar has to fight for his place? Perhaps they are dual personalities?

team management will give him trial in one or two tests then only they think of Rahul who is selected as specialist opener. Others are picked up middle order places That is why I have put him as certain

Actually, he is consulting an astrologer which name to keep so that he can score some runs on good wickets against good bowlers, and whether he should keep his moutaches pointed straight or at an angle to get Vaastu benefits.
