Harbajan's bowling style corrected
by niki surabi on Nov 25, 2014 05:15 PM

He has corrected his bowling style but is no more among the wickets as he used to be.
So no big deal. The earlier success was like Muralidharan's, with suspect action. Take case of Ajmal, he too was among wickets with suspect action. Suddenly ICC wakes up and these so called greats appear ordinary.
Will ICC now nullify Murali's record ?

Bhajji was a treat to watch
by Mike Teflon on Nov 24, 2014 08:53 PM  | Hide replies

He was a superb bowler in his hey day and used Doosra rather sparingly..

He used pace variations, arm ball, flight, drift and the stock ball to devastating effect.. He was a delight to watch in his prime..

Ever since Kumble retired, he quietly slipped into oblivion. Dhoni did play a villainous role in arm-twisting this talented albeit temperamental talent..

brother,I think Bhajji was sexessful because Kumble was bowling tight from one end. So,after Kumble retired Harbhajan started failing.

All of them are highly talented and hugely successful in international matches. They didn't get their due and Dhoni projected as a captain cucumber played havoc with their careers.

One individual with limited ability both with bat n gloves could not have held the Indian cricket to ransom.

He's a never a Syed Kirmani with gloves nor an Adam Gilchrist with bat. Undue hype about his cool demeanor ruined Indian cricket for the past 4 to 5 years.

Ganguly worked hard to build an Indian team and hoist Indian flag on the world scene but Dhoni undone all the good work and collected 5 consecutive abroad series losses.

If he has any shame, he should stop playing politics and hand over the gloves to Saha or Samson and retire gracefully..

well peks, All those established players didn't have the self-belief to counter the aggression of OZ.. He transformed a bunch of pretenders into an army of believers..

His contribution to Indian cricket cannot be downplayed. He also is the most successful Indian captain, overseas..

2 MEN (in the real sense) I have seen captaining India are Azhar (until heScrewed things up) and Ganguly (all his career as a captain)
