Australia's captaincy
by srirama chandra rao on Nov 22, 2014 01:53 PM  | Hide replies

Smith is ideally suited right now as he is in good form. Basically captain should be automatic choice as a player. In that way Smith will be there as a player

Kim Hughes is too arrogant

calling the Indian side as average. Let him know that the fast bowlers of India are much better now compared to the 2011 tour. Also, this India team will not be carrying "extra baggage" (mean GumBeer,Sehwag,Sachin) etc. The new young batsmen are pretty bold and more energetic.

with this young team, Indian fielding improves a lot and as a team, it can produce best results

Don't underestimate India
by Mike Teflon on Nov 22, 2014 03:37 AM  | Hide replies

I'd pick 4 teams based on form, skill levels, consistency among others to have a realistic chance of winning world cup..

OZ, SA, NZ and India.. Other teams don't have any chance.. It could be anyone's cup from these 4 teams.

But..

If Kohli fires big time and others chip in with useful contributions, I don't any reason, why India shouldn't be tipped favorites.. It could boil down to IND and OZ in finals, my guess..

If batsmen click like Virat,Rohit,Dhawan along with Dhoni and if bowlers can be consistent, then India can win with out much difficulty
