you forget the tri series win by dhoni when he was made captain for the first time in his life? and that too against ponting' aus which was playing at home and officially no 1 odi side?
VVS' comment is perfect Sportsman comment. Any one can win & cricket is known to be game of luck. Indians loose matches mostly because of their over confidence on the basis of previous match/es. If they dont try to rest on their past laurels, they can give good fight and also win the WC. Wish them all the best.

Is it because ISIS will stand guard in the stadium and dictate terms to all the teams?
Don't tinker the team with Test specialist and ODI specialists..
If someone performs outstandingly well, for ex, Murali Vijay or Pujara, the same may be considered for ODIs coz acclimatization in oz conditions counts and even the ODI pitches demand technique..
India this time can't be written off.. A serious contender for sure..
