When he has done nothing wrong except look the other way when players/officials under him misbehaved as per his organizational rules,he is either a man staying put for his personal gain or is totally inefficient.If he is neither,he is wasting his precious time in a wrong place trying to build cricket.
Has Sunil Gavaskar explained what was lakhs of rupees which was found in his gymkhana locker doing there ? This entire episode is just a quest for power between different factions and nothing else. If BCCI was serious for cricket, IPL would have been banned long back. People must think other than monetary gain, what has it gained for Indian cricket ? Has it produced great batsmen? Bowlers who take wickets ?
