So what if Kohli is Anderson's Bunny
by Voosan Raj on Nov 18, 2014 04:23 AM

Ofcourse Kohli had a horrible England tour. No doubt he got out to Anderson on every single occassion for the same type of ball.

That doesn't take away much from his accomplishments. If Anderson comes to India (I'm saying "If" and not "When" because most English don't have guts to come to India. THey make excuses such as home sickness etc. They are Tigers at home and cows on road), Kohli is going cream up so nicely, we have Anderson cream cheese as bread spread.

So he has weakness against Anderson only in England. But he has done historically well against everyone all around the world. That stat itself doesn't mean he is a bad player. Every technically correct legend Tendulkar, Dravid had one or the other weaknesses. If you just keep worrying about it and not look ahead, you will lose what you are capable of and accomplishing well.

Just shut being negative critic, support the guy, he is working hard for you and me. Support him for once.

Typical dreams before another impending whitewash

The current stand-in captain seems to be flying high after beating a under-strength and underprepared Sri Lankan team on his own soil. Come the next tour, it would be interesting to see how he copes with loss after loss. Playing the supreme speed of Mitchell Johnson, Josh Hazelwood, Morne Morkel and Dale Steyn is just another thing. Who are the men among these boys? Only that series would tell. However, it is a good ploy by the BCCI to get the team acclimatized to those conditions where the World Cup would be hosted. However, another important thing is that the current team director ought to be fired because he and his handpicked staff are liabilities. Duncan Fletcher should be allowed to choose his own team and not have to put up with the current director and his cronies.

We Indians do not want to give credit to the merit when it is displayed. Not only in this context but at numerous instances.

But will be on forefront whenever the team fails - condemn them unequivocally.

Kohli's unbeaten knock of 139
by srirama rao on Nov 17, 2014 02:39 PM

It is really a tough fight in that way having lost three to four batsmen in between and under pressure situations. Axar patel has supported well with his composed innings at the end which helped Kohli to finish with those fantastic shots in the end. It is really very good to outplay srilanka with 5-0 Good luck to Inidan Team in Australia and World cup. Almost selection of the team is settled with these series. Ishant and Shammi will be joining others
