His straight drive was a great pleasure to watch. Two contemptuous drives he hit off Allan Donald are still etched in my memory in a home series with SA.. He was dismissed by Cronje in that match and SA won that series 2-0.
It was total disdain for a bowler like Donald and Sachin's brilliance requires no substantiation..
However, he did his image no good by delaying his retirement. I still respect him from the bottom of my heart..

Last statement is just your oppinion. We felt he could have played coming world cup. People like him are only born once in 1000 years. We wont find player like him again, who changed the face of cricket.

BTW, SRT dint retired a good 2.5 years before the WC2015.. Wonder why he dint 'think' he could play for 2 more WCs :)
