today there is a confirmation in cricinfo that the names of Owais Shah,Samuel Badree and Stuart Binny have been cleared by Mudgal committee and they were not at all involved in any wrong doing.

may be he was interviewed ,but he is playing safe.. later if things go worse he will come up with a story that he could not identify the name mudgal coz of cultural and pronunciation differences.

But Shah has clearly mentioned he had no indication that he was under investigation or suspicion. Moreover,as far as I remember,his name was never mentioned anywhere. There's a possibility that names have been mixed up.
