CLEAN UP
by mahadevan ravi on Nov 15, 2014 08:40 PM

It is a shame on those running BCCI(all the associations) for not having CRICKET above all in mind when doing business.,Non of these fellows congratulated a world record 264 from Rohit and instead concentrating on Srinivasan escaping law.Love for a great game is not at all there, and only all the money which it rakes in matters.Hope atleast all cricketers, past &present, greats and not so greats, come out with truth that they may know to clean up the stable and do the GAME proud.Atleast, players got these bucks because they are talented and not diabolique.,and therefore, must payback to the GREAT GAME they LOVE.Cheats will fade away from grace faster than they reached there.

SC...
by srinivasan iyer on Nov 15, 2014 11:58 AM

Why is SC playing to the gallery?
If its feels there is a case then it MUST say so. If not then also say so...
Why are they sensationalizing it.... It is shameful that the august court has played into the hands oof the media and put itself in partisan mould!

Supreme court must declare the names of cricketers involved and punish them suitably .2ndly Shrini & his cronies must be barred immediately from elcections/playing/ administration.BCCI should work as a transparent sports association .

This was exactly Modi is trying to do with the help of Pawar. This is a bigger game plan of NCP supporting BJP govt. in Maharashtra. Do not think Modi and party is clean. Ask them from where they get money to run party.

Srinivasan still running the cricket show by remote control

The Cricket fan is indeed bigger than the Board or it's President .
The Supreme Court is doing the nation a great injustice by not naming the Cricketers involved.
The excuse is that it will tarnish the game and cause chaos in the cricket world. The fact is that top politicians are involved from important parties. If one were to closely observe even the selection of the Test Cricket playing 11 is centred around a few chosen individuals who form the nucleus. Any other new player selected outside this group is hardly given 2 or 3 half opportunities to clinch a permanent position (Which rarely happens). Club over country is the priority and money rules the roost than anything else. Test cricket been taken for a ride and so have been the fans. T 20 has taken over the 50 over game as well. It's therefore logical and a conclusion that very few players can play well in a Test match and hence India is ranked lower than Sr Lanka or Pakistan and can win matches only against weak teams and that too at home in ideal condition. If those involved are favouring a particular IPL team, it is but common sense that the leaders of this team and it's players would definitely be involved as well. There is really no need to mention the names, but still your guess is a s good as mine as to who are the payers involved by the way they have conducted themselves at Press Confederates and by the stony silence they have exhibited when confronted by the media. But one day the TRUTH shall prevail.
