It is good that Sachin skipped Australia despite Modi's invitation, otherwise Greg Chappell,Andrew Symonds, Gilchrist & others are all waiting to pounce on him when he lands in Australia, after the way he has criticised them in his book.

Whatever he do, the haters will find a reason to bash him.

Whatever he do, the haters will find a reason to bash him.

If he accepted the invitation and avoided the village development programme, the same people will say, he gone for glory. Failed as MP blah blah.

Instead of being a member of a group where he don't have any role, he chose best. Be with the people who needs most.

should not have declined invitation

Sachin Tendulkar, is without a doubt, a great humanbeing. He adopted a poor village in AP and is developing it. The villagers are extremely happy and are totally thankful to Sachin..

The development being done was showed on TV and it was heart-warming..

Nevertheless, Sachin should not have denied the opportunity to represent the country as a sports ambassador and to go along with PM's delegation is a huge honor.. Sachin has great following in OZ and the PM's entourage would have stood to gain immensely.. Ideally Sachin should have postponed his commitments and served the country by accompanying PM..

after reading the reactions to his book from Australians, Sachin would have thought it's better to avoide going there now :)
