As sports, 50 over game provide reasonable opportunity to show the talent while 20 over game is just entertainment time...3-5 days game is actually cricket which too is necessary but not on TV...

they can play 10 or 20 days test in their backyard if they like so much. cricket beyond 20-20 overs must be banned from live telecast. it is such a waste of human energy.
I think Allan Border is right, In 20-20 bowler does not have a chance to prove his class.
If not a 50 over match a 40 over match where each bowker gets to bowl 8 overs atleast in maximum of 3 spells with each spell not more than 4 overs would give bowler a chance in the game.
That will balance the game a lot. 20-20 is more of whack and go. good from a viewership perspective but bad from a class cricket stand point.

Allan Border is absolutely right. In 50-over contest there is thrill, ups and downs where batters and bowlers get equal opportunity, but not so in T-20 Tamasha, which a genuine cricket follower will never support. Those who back T-20 cricket, do so because of self interest only
T20 has certainly brought down the standard of cricket. The 50 over match (if not played on dead flat wickets) is far, far better to enjoy. Moreover, too much of shorter version of the game has brought a saturation point in cricket. So many local, national and international leagues. This game is becoming boring day by day.
