Dravid is another politician
by Varadarajan Ravindran on Nov 07, 2014 01:07 AM  | Hide replies

Rahul Dravid pretends that he did not know anything about Greg Chappell's real intention of controlling Indian cricket. He was grateful for Chappell who sacked Aourabh Ganguly as the captain before the infamous World Cup Indian debacle. Chappell knew that Ganguly had a strong personality and could not be easily controlled. Under the circumstances, Dravid pretended not to know anything about Greg Chappell's atrocities. However, when Sachin Tendulkar complained about Greg Chappell's geneal misbehavior and misconduct, Dravid replied that he knew about it but could not do anything. All Dravid cared about was becoming captain of India, and not about India winning Test matches and the World Cup abroad. People like Dravid are smooth politicians who do not want to antagonize people like Chappell even though he was not doing his job as a coach. Chappell never improved the techniques of batsmen and their averages were abysmally low under his tutelage. The bowlers were not even able to keep the runs down and take wickets. John Wright, Gary Kirsten and Robert Simpson yielded better results as coaches.

Rightly said. If Dravid join politics he might become a great politician like sickular congis. Dravid had enormous envy on Saurav and Sachin. He successfully thrown out Saurav by joining hands with Greg. But he could not overthrow Sachin as Sachin has huge fan base. Thats why he didn't allow Sachin to score double ton in Multan. He is a worst than politician. Rahul is the root cause of all the mess as he allowed Greg to thrive
