This man looks like a saint but played many drty games with Sachin and Sorav while he was captain. Earlier part of his carrier he did not deserve to be in ODI side. Dada did him a favour by selecting him as WK. He returned the favour by kicking Dada out of team with the help of that cunning old man Greig...He along with his KTKA frnd Kmble were boot LCKRS of that Aussie
whoever made this decission has rightly done so at the time when he was made captain his performance had gone bad to worse which anyway was for his personal records
No wonder certain individuals do become close to Gods thanks to media be it from any field, cricket, films, politics. Same media reduces the same people to villains. Circle goes on. It is we the public must think where to invest your time, energy and money. As it is said in the dark knighy. You stay good long enough to become a villain
He was never a capable leader who could take a a canonball on his chest. He was always a spineless techinical expert.
He should never have been made captain. Under his very nose match fixing was going on. Batsmen were giving lollypop catches. Every Kid in india knew. Only Sachin the saint was unaware. He didnt have the guts. Book dosent say a word on matchfixing.

What a correct terminology ... spineless technical expert! You should have added ... against lowly minnow attacks only ...
After reading on Rediff & others excerpts from Sachin's autobiographical book, one gets the feeling that is the "Bible of Indian cricket" in the era Sachin played. Nearly every episode/incident has been covered. Maybe some big shots maybe hurt from what he has written, but overall it is an honest effort.
