Of course it is..nothing sells without promotion now a days.. it would be a shame of sachins book does not sell more than Akhtar and gilchirst combined together.

Due to the Rules of BCCI, a Player can only talk to BCCI if there are any issues, not to Media. He is not under the BCCI Contract Now, so he wanted the people to know, what he felt then or whats his version.
And more than that, It is His Autobiography.
Can you write an Autobiography, without your Bad and Good Phases in your career?

Well..to also answer your below query..kaif ran out of favour not only of Chappel. Sachin strongly viewed Kambli as a competitor and did not help him constructively.. A friend can do wonders for you ...but what we have here is Sachin not even acknowledging Kambli as a childhood friend, as a person who shared his food, dreams and struggles. This to me is a huge failure ..and the type of actions Sachin is capable of.
I guess the lowest point for him as a person was that he failed Vinod Kambli as a person, player and friend. and this is by no means a trivial issue and speaks volumes about Sachin.

There is some words called upbringing, Humility etc. A Friend is very much limited to teach a Friend those qualities.
Kambli's Success went to his Head. He did failed to control his success. And for your Kind information, Kambli did came back into Indian Team in both tenure of Sachin's Captaincy. Sachin can't bat for Kambli in crease

It is not the moot point.The issue here is that Chapel possibly tried too hard in the beginning to change the close groups within playing eleven.The Indian players are known for closing ranks if their place in endangered by an outsider which happened in this case.Greig Chappel was a superior batsman & Ian a captain though Tendulkar played longer & scored more runs than both.

The Problem was Ego. He didnt know, The Coach of Indian Cricket is not the the Manager of Man United.
World chess championship is starting tomorrow and still indian media is not giving deserving coverage to it. our Vishy Anand has worked hard to challenge Carlsen. But, our media is still sleeping. and then they cry why india is a failed nation in sports. first learn to respect india's no. 1 sportsperson Vishy Anand!
