by harinath on Nov 04, 2014 12:23 PM  | Hide replies

After all these years Sachin speaks why cos he wants his book to gain publicity when he was in the game he never speaks either about Greg Chapell or Srinivasan's Mockery of BCCI but now he has got consciousness what a Shame.

Hi,

No offence, but Sachin himself is a brand, he doesn't require any foul publicity to sell his book.
He didn't spoke, because of the love he had for the game. He had the ability to improvise with his bat, then why let the mouth talk.

Cheap tactic
by qwert poiuy on Nov 04, 2014 11:28 AM  | Hide replies

This is the cheapest tactic for selling ones book

Greg was bad. But good emerged out of it later because he broke coterie of senior players. Fresh blood entered the team Dhoni that won the next world cup. It wasnt you.

You are merely a century collector like your mentor gavaskar. I have never seen a good player in the world who paces his innings carefully just to reach magical 100 and then gets out. We dont count those 100s . We count the number of wins of team india.

You are right!

Why did all these players who didn't like Chappell's style of working not revolt when Chappell was treating them like slaves?!

Ten Dull Car was all hype and was scared to lose it all if he acted tough with the powers behind Indian Cricket!

True.

Also to blame is indian publics hero worship mentality who dont care if india loses as long as their 'sachin' scores.

Why should a team blame a coach for a loss. Coach is just admin staff that is hired because the team needs him for workout and sort technical issues. Its the team that wins or loses. Its the captain who makes strategy.

Dont pass on these responsibilities to a coach so you can blame him in loss and keep the credit with you for winnin. Dont hire a coach.. who stops you.

Which fresh blood are you talking about?? India won the world cup 2011 on the basis of good performance of Yuvi, Sachin and Zaheer mainly. Which so called fresh player performed during that world cup?? Even Dhoni and Gambhir did not perform before final. Had Chappel bought so many fresh blood in team then why is the Indian test team has come to no.6 from no.1 after seniors retired. Stop worshiping Goras..

"Endulkar" might hurt,but it's a fact
by wcpak on Nov 04, 2014 11:14 AM

Your test career average was 54 and you every 2.5 innings you were scoring 50 and above.
From 2011 to 2013 your test average was 36 and for every score of 50 and above you took 4.3 innings.

In your whole career, you scored a century in every 5.8 innings. Between 2011 and 2013 in 39 innings you scored only one century.

Though regrettable, from 2011 it was Endulkar.

promotion of his book

if retirement had crossed his mind, he could have respected it and gracefully retired. why did you play till 40 when you knew that you are not contributing on field? Honest sportsmen will retire at right age and time and give opportunity to young talents?

only political leaders who had lost people confidence will stir a controversy in media after releasing their book just to promote them. please try a different style sachin.

I never saw Tendulkar helping india win from difficult situations especially batting second.

Apart from that he just made millions. Ferari where he tried to avoid taxes, unauthorized extension of his house, avoiding parliament were other un-becoming acts of a great player.

Lastly unbecoming of Bharat Ratna, the next day you went to indiaexpo to promote cars..

Grow up Sachin, get some dignity.

hahahah .. Just wondering what have you achieved other than being aimless loser and a needless critic. Bharat Ratna was awarded to him by govt and why should he not take part in other activities after getting a bharat ratna. I think you need to grow up.

right,BR doesn't preclude you from other activities. But,considering the timing,it is very obvious that the award itself was fixed.
