These cheerleaders are substandard because they are from Eastern Europe!

Eastern European women struck gold in India when they discovered India's obsession with fair skin!

These cheerleaders wouldn't even be hired as wait staff in restaurants in Western countries!

As always India ends up getting the world's garbage!

We are no more seeing the cricket match in IPL ,it is unfortunate that senior cricketers are dancing with cheer girls, cricketers are megre actors,Director and producers are hiding.A doctor ,engineer, advocate and IAS officers earn 3 to 4 crores in their life span.A cricketer is getting much more than that in a single series.Where from this money is coming indulging in match fixing Etc.Simply encashing the public crazy in india.should be banned .

Don't Do This!

Once again, in the name of sports, you are displaying women's bodies.

In any case, most of your stories have pictures, relevant or otherwise, of semi-clad women; why one more?

Please understand that you are encouraging the sick mentality of looking at women only in a certain way.

Why don't you, in stead, write about genuine sportswomen and their sports, like squash, badminton, tennis and even cricket.

About time you decided what kind of readership are you aiming at.

I agree with you. Unfortunately, w0men are used in every field, only for one specific purpose - that is to get more eyeballs. Whether it is tennis or any other sport, w0men are required to show their b0dies. The talk about talent, etc. is just a cover up.

the same holds true for organisations, establishments, corporate world etc. it's only women who count there.

even though the top brass keep hyping about values n morals, these are only meant for the others (mere mortals as they'd say.)

for them n their coterie, it's only the viles i.e. wine, women, wealth, vagabondism etc. since it's their privilege (!)

Who writes these articles. Dude get some home work done before pasting it on website. First of all why do you need such articles, even if you are so obsessed than do some home work first. Pasting Delhi Cheerleaders' picture in KXIP column shows what rediff's standard has gone to.

When we can't find one person able to handle India n blindly stick to the name of Gandi, what else do you expect of us Indians?

Initiative
by kuttan on May 09, 2014 10:06 AM  | Hide replies

That is a good initiative by rediff. No one is bothered about the cheer leaders who come and cheer when some one hits a sixer, or a boundary. That moment every one in the stadium claps and claps and cheers. But the cheer leaders have made their own space in the spectators mind.
This is a good initiative by Rediff which have so far gone unnoticed.
