Maxwell is turning out to be a great combination of strategizing,reading the bowler,timing,knowing field placement and skill. He has been lucky no doubt. But seeing him batting the way he is would rate him better than others simply because of his versatility of playing shots 360 degrees round the wicket. Bowling wide Yorkers with an off side field could be the way to contain him or get him out. Pacers may try spinners sorry.

No, Maxwell is not so destructive, it is just that he is in abnormal form that he is playing & he cant be even compared with Sachin & Sehwag who have been proved their talent in All form of cricket for a long time. Remember Gilchrist who had played similarly & struggled later even to cross single digit. Chris Gayle was & is so destructive even today, just that he has to recover his health. With still matches left ahead, wait for GaGaGaGayle storm.
