Head of all sporting bodies should necessarily be ex sportsmen..At the same time, every cricketer who retires has to be given a coaching assignment at least for 3-4 years including Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri etc..before they are allowed to take up commentating...commentating is the best earning job without any responsibilities---the same people who were themselves pathetic fielders comment on present crops fielding abilities...their frankness can be judged when both did not say a word against some issues just because they are being paid by BCCI

Just a small change Sir, they dont comment on the abilities of the present guys. They only comment on the performance, which even you and me indulge in..
I really do not recognize impeccable credentials of Gavaskar on the question of his stand on BCCI,Srinivsan or IPL match fixing.Although he is quite critical when it comes to other matters he scrupulosly avoided any comments on the above issues.Despite his lack of forthightness he has been deemed fit to occupy the Chair albeit temporarily.
you cant trust a single person (some retired cricketers and comentator some corrupt politicians and remaining corperate people all withself interest) all have conflict of interest some outsider (Who) should be found may be a retired supreme court judje.Jay Ho!
It is reported in high circles, that Gavaskar and his near family members are heavily into betting huge sums. How is Gavaskar going to help eradicate betting in cricket?
