SC can also interfere in 1) bringing back black money stashed in swiss bank 2) no criminal or corrupt politicians should enter politics. 3) strict control over Population 2 for one couple 4) All Vacant agriculture land should be taken over by government and started functioning. 5) Only 2 Political Party at the Centre no colation. 6) No Family or Dyansty Politics 7) Compulsary Education for Orphaned childrens and Shelter for Old age people deprived from families. I think this will improve our economy and tackle unemployment rather than interfering in sports body like IPL which is already a game of gambling when auctioning started for players who is not worth to be payed in crores. JUST WASITING TIME leaving important issues behind

I fully agree with you. On what capacity Mr.Gavaskar was made IPL president by SC. Then why not SC nominates Coal/Telecom/secretaries etc. SC could have interfered in the Commonwealth games & Adarhs housing scams.

Also, good roads, clean atmosphere and clean water, and uninterrupted power supply are fundamental rights of the people. Let SC direct the Government of the day on these things also.

Dhoni has paid an amount of Rs. 20 crores as incoemtax for the current financial year. What is the need of associating himself as Vice President of India Cement in the company of tainted people like Sreenivasan and Maiyappan and spoild his name and creating unnecessary doubt about his own creditability ? Dhoni is very intelligent person and he has definitely given wrong statement to the investigating panel about the role of Maiyappan in Chennai Super King. Harish Salve is the best of best legal counsel and he will never accuse anyone without concrete and solid proof against anyone. Dhoni has no answer and has no alternative but to keep mum in the matter. If he is right he could have objected through his authorised legal representative in the court. He can still file petition to the court to remove adverse remarks against him to save his honour and prestige But it seem that he is totally wrong and can not do anything.

His record as a Test Captain and player in the last couple of years is so pathetic that even Bangladesh also would not have given a long rope to such a 'consistent failed performer'. it is amazing to see how he has pulled defeats and draws from the jaws of victories. This is just the blessing of 'the big boss'. It is only India Cement's jode that cements his place in the test side. Also can we forget his wife's pictures with Vindoo seeing IPL matches?

One of the important legal maxims is to hear both the sides in a case but here only Harish Salve tells the Court that Dhoni has lied and it is flashed in all newspapers. Has Dhoni been given a chance to present his side of the case? Why SC allows such a one sided news item to appear in the press and defame a great player and Captain of Indian Cricket Team?
.....of anything just 'offer' to resign? There is news afloat the Dhoni has done the same. Why doesn't the fellow just resign if he feels he should do so on 'moral' grounds.
Why the sham offer? Just don't do it if you are not serious. AND if you are serious then just resign DON'T 'offer'.

Why to offer to resign ? He should resign from his post of Vice President of India Cement as he has nothing to do with any activities of India Cement except with Chennai super King in IPL. I dont think he must have attended the office of India Cement and performed any duties as Vice president. He is appointed only because of his brand value. Otherwise also he has got more income from cricket and other sources than as Vice president of India Cement and should quit his job immediately to avoid any problem in the company of tainted people like Srinivasan and Maiyappan
Strange indeed. Media has found Gospel value in the words of an advocate. If all the advocates are speaking the truth, then why should there be any need of two advocates for the same case. If Harish Salve knows exactly what has happened, is he the master mind behind this whole story and drama. Capt. Dhoni can only speak upon what he has seen and what he has heard. Harish Salve is a dangerous fellow who has acquired immense property and wealth in the past 25 to 20 years. Does the Supreme Court know about that? Incredible.
