Yuvi is the best and all support to help him gain his confidence and form back is to be given without any doubt.Rahane has a strike rate of 95-105 when he opens and in the range of 75 to 80 when he bats at 4/5 and that to in IPL.Yuvi with no doubts is much better option on any given day.analyse rahane's performance in asia cup and you all will get your answers...yuvi should be retained and if which i am sure he will he regains his form he single handedly will win matches for us...

why was he selected

he is useless. we talk about his six sixes but not about the five sixes hit on his bowling in same match, by same bowler.

Let him gain form during Bangladesh so that he will have confidence to demolish Aussies.

Yuvraj is match winner

Yuvraj should not be dropped from team because of three reasons. 1) I believe Ajinkya is not as talented as Yuvraj. 2)Yuvraj can contribute anytime in all areas like batting, fielding and even bowling. If he is just making 20 odd runs but saving 30 runs in field that is also an advantage for the team. 3)India has won one world cup T20 and one 50-50 in both these world cups it was yuvraj who made a big difference. In short Yuvraj is match winner who can make difference anytime.

Emotions apart, need to take sensible decisions, as this is world cup. One mistake can take you out of the tournament. For international matches like this, current form matters most, not talent. Talents can be tested in other matches, not in world cup. Definitely, Ajinkya Rahane will be better option considering current form.

Yuvraj will cost more to India and RCB

Yes Yuvaj will cost more to team. Now Bangalore RCB should be regretting for the cost they paid for him.

agreed he is in bad patch & not in good form but T20 is not a game to regain form by staying on crease as in one day or test. so yuvi must make way for ajinkya so yuvi all respect go for ranji first

He must be given a chance against Bangladesh. He may retrieve his lost form. However if he fails again, it surely needs a revisit. No doubt his contribution is unparalled in two world cups yet we cannot give him undue advantage for that. Hope Yuvi regains !!

Yuvraj I feel should be persisted... Lets just look at what this man has gone thru...He was the same guy who got us the 2nd World Cup...and when disaster struck he fought on bravely...Its not easy emotionally or mentally to get over the dreaded disease..But he did...He came back into the team and performed brilliantly in his first match...Like Sourav Ganguly had remarked that time...he should have given his body more time...His performance dipped and he was dropped. Both Yuvraj and Zaheer then took it upon themselves to train abroad and we can see a leaner Yuvraj who just needs a bit of confidence from all his fans..Yes he failed in his first two outings and looked a bit out of sorts...but this is the time we need to give him the confidence as he is one of the most destructive batsman on his day.
