politics of dhoni ruined career of Amit Misra

politics of dhoni ruined career of Amit Misra. Its Virat Kohli who selected Amit Misra in ASIA cup where he performed well and so its almost forced Dhoni to pick hipn in T20 WC. ..Congrats Virat who cleverly outsmarted dhoni and ultimately benefited INDIA.

yes you are true, kholi is doing right things but he should control his anger & should not mess like dhnoi by leting ssucess on his mind.i praise tendulkar ver much after that dravid, ganguly & laxman ,instead of them i never praise anybody infact not dhoni also but i praise kholi because he proved that he is the gr8 player of all formats,t20,test,one day & contineously performing.80 % matches india wins if kholi scores 40

in case you have noticed though dhoni and kohli gave chance to mishra in the last few games neither one dropped jadeja and ashwin...

so it is not as if jadeja and ashwin were dropped to accommodate mishra...anyway it was dhoni who first took mishra in his side...after kumble retired and dhoni became captain he took mishra in the test side...kumble was not getting wickets ..mishra took a few in tests and we won many tests when mishra played...later dhoni preferred ojha in place of mishra and again ojha proved him right and we won many tests...after that dhoni dropped him for jadeja and jadeja again came good and we thrashed australia 4-0 ...jadeja took clarke's wicket nearly all innings save one or two...so all dhoni's decisions proved right and successful...

and of course dhoni was blamed each time though he was proved right...first people blamed him for kumble retirement and dropping mishra, then he was blamed for taking ojha and dropping mishra, then he was blamed for taking jadeja and dropping ojha...but all the time dhoni's choice proved successful and we won many matches...

there are very very few, if any of cases where he supported players and they did not come good...

Sunil, There is no point explaining these people about importance of Dhoni, these are like those nagging women who would do anything to win their argument, no rational thought at all. We can safely ignore these guys.

so many people here love to hate dhoni so much that they blame him not only for throwing out seniors and some who were not either seniors or new players (like sehwag yuvraj bhajji gambhir which we can call the ''in-between-generation players'' ) that they also blame him for throwing out players who did not play under him!....

people blame dhoni for throwing out seniors like sachin dravid laxman ganguly bhajji sehwag gambhir etc.....but at least it makes some bit of sense considering that at least they played under him...

but it gets really funny when some people even blame dhoni for kumble's retirement!!
they hold him responsible for kumble's retirement forgetting that kumble was failing for one whole year....people forget that kumble knew his time was up and he was not being as effective as before and he was blocking the place of some new good bowler so he retired...

he realized that when he compared his performances in the last 2 years....in the penultimate year before his retirement kumble took 49 wickets in 10 tests with strike rate of 56.8 and in his last year he took 28 wickets in 10 tests with strike rate of 99.1...he knew what was the honourable thing to do and he did that...and people blame dhoni for that!

dhoni has supported so many new players and also older players like yuvraj bhajji zaheer when they were going through lean periods...and that is how it should be ...in olden days players were thrown out after one or two failures...dhoni does not do that....and because of the security that dhoni gives them players get their confidence back...

dhoni believes in giving long ropes to everybody...not only juniors but also seniors...like he has given long ropes or perhaps we can say even 2 long ropes to people like sachin sehwag gambhir laxman zaheer bhajji etc...there is a misconception here that dhoni threw out the seniors...in fact the seniors overstayed their welcome....dhoni in fact gave a long rope to all of them...

for a long time before the 2011 odi wc yuvraj in bad form...and people were clamouring that he be dropped...it was because of dhoni's belief and support in him that yuvraj played the odi wc and everybody knows how he performed...

who is dhoni to give long run to grt sachin, laxman, sehwag, gambhir ...by their effort only team india became no.1 in REAL TEST MATCHES. Its vice a versa ...sachin gave captainship to dhoni. And only n only reason that Srini is head of BCCI and India Cement, dhonis place is still safe in TEST.In history no captain given mercy after loosing 10 tests incl minows like NZ.Dhoni gives uncountable chance to Dhoni gang only whose contract managed by his own comapny.Just read or google.

by Shikari Shambu on Mar 24, 2014 08:14 PM

India should have gone for the kill rather than give batting practice to Yuvi.. If NRR creeps in to eliminate teams, wasting almost 2 overs will dent their chances. Raina was the best guy to finish off the match in those circumstances..

When so many new players are knocking for the blue shirt, why the folks in power go to this fall guy.Agreed he has had his good times but no more now at the expense of the team and young players in waiting. His mother is so influential eh!!!

I am surprised that the same Dhoni who "does not give long ropes to seniors" is entertaining this.. Last T20 WC, he gave Nohit Sharma bowling in the 5th or 6th over, even before Ashwin got the ball. Result was that Nohit gave away 13 runs in an over. Not all gambles like 2007 T20 WC final over will work..

Rs 14 crore man is in big trouble
by Inzy Bhai on Mar 24, 2014 06:10 PM  | Hide replies

It is time that master fixer Dhoni realizes that his so called trump card does not bring him & the team down. Yuvi's career was over the day he was diagnosed with cancer. But instead of gracefully bowing out he chose to let greed get the better of him. Today Mallaya must be weeping tears of grief for having paid a colossal amount to get this junk of a player. Well Mallaya when you don't pay your staff of KFA this is what you must expect.

It is high time for him to retire from Ltd over matches; not keeping the old zeal and form.
