It is high time for him to retire from Ltd over matches; not keeping the old zeal and form.

Please Drop Yuvraj. Instead take Binny . He is a good allrounder.

Yuvraj has become a liability. Dropped eazy catches, low score , bad bowling etc is bad for the moral of younger players. Why linger with him. Sympathy has a limit.

No way that Yuvraj will be dropped. Dhoni loves to support the weakest link in his team. He supported Ishant to the hilt. Now that Ishant is not in the team, the new weak link is Yuvraj. Dhoni will go all out to keep him in the team.

Why different yardstick for Gambhir?
by Nagarkatti A on Mar 24, 2014 01:43 PM  | Hide replies

Gambhir has had much better and consistent perfromance than Yuvraj excepting for one season of loss of form. He has been selected batsman of the year in ICC ratings. Yuvraj has been only a flash in the pan. Then why this bias?
Is it because the brand promoters of Yuvraj pay King Dhoni and emperor Srinivasan more obeisence than Gambhir?

yes, but what if at the end of first innings gambhir receives the news that his mother has cough and fever? then as usual he will leave the match midway and go to attend to her and then we will have neither dhavan nor gambhir to bat for us!

# Era of Yuvraj Singh
by Suram Verma on Mar 24, 2014 01:22 PM

Yuvraj Singh's era in cricket is over and it seems he is unnecessarily there in the team. Have a look when he field, bowl and bat. He is always uncomfortable and most when he is batting. He should retire. May be all this is due to his health and mental problem but he is feeling as it seems from his expressions particularly during his batting. He should be off cricket gracefully and concentrate to IPL where he is being paid maximum.

What is this chest thumping by media for?
by pradeep agarwal on Mar 24, 2014 01:07 PM

We have a very illiterate group of reporters possibly who have never ever entered a cricket field leave aside playing. They comment on the game like a tape recorded statement which is nothing but eulogizing players than intricacies of game which most don't understand.T20 is like a game of roulette that can go anybodies way on a given day.We have seen this team catapulting against the weakest NZ in both 5 days & ODI while being given dressing down in UK & Australia that non of us can forget ever while they were number one ranking side.

He should walk out with dignity, failing which his reputation will be tarnished.
