Instead of hosting the first leg of IPL in dubai and the rest of india, the entire event should have been held in UAE as it will break the momentum and also the playing conditions will differ drastically.

The teams will be happy with not getting home advantage and all teams playing in same conditions. Also the shift in venue may also break the momentum of certain teams. Loss of revenue will also be a factor.
