Please consider Ashwin as history. He does not deserve a place in the Indian team at the moment. Agreed, he is a good bowler, but considering his performance in the recent past, he should be out of the team. can be considered in tests, that are played in India.
Somebody has realised the need to invest in developing new bowling talents in India. Very good move indeed. Sad, BCCI doesn't think this way. Even after minting crores and crores from the game, BCCI has simply ignored the interests of the players and the game. And now it is showing in India's performance abroad.
That's how one should make a difference by using his own status and credibility in the game. Hope to see more Shamis and Gangulies coming from this initiative.
