tomorrow philander will be replaced by johnson. it is the bias of media against Tamilnadu players. when northy players failed consecutively they have to be given more chances. once in a blue moon useless innings will be praised sky high. where as a small mistake by TN players especially cricketers will be blown out of proportion & the loss will be put on his head where as it is ateam game. even a good contribution from tn players will not merit due importance.

Disagree..! Totally failing overseas is not a "small mistake" by any player and Asswin is no exception. Dont link TN and performance.

Thanks to such biased articles and cricket politicians like Saurav Ganguly who always wants to be in the limelight (he still harbours playing for India even today even though his playing shelf life is over), players like Ashwin have to go through such unfair criticism and scrutiny. Similar articles were written by gang of Bengali writers in sports column of TOI to remove Dravid, Laxman (Sachin anyway you cannot touch ...) but nothing came up on Sehwag, Harbhajan or Gambhir even when they failed miserably at that time. All this because except Saurav, rest of his colleagues were still playing test cricket which he could not digest! Every person has good and bad days, same goes for Ashwin. Instead of helping him and providing encouragement to him like Dravid did to Sehwag for more than a year when Sehwag was completely out of form, these Bengali writers and Saurav keep making false accusations with a one-point agenda - remove all CSK players from India team (incl. India's most successful captain Dhoni)!!! People please wake up to this Bengali divide and rule policy and save Indian cricket from being divided. These heartless people are doing all they can to ensure Dhoni and CSK players in Indian team are in their worst state of mind when playing the next ODI world cup in Australia!!! Wake up India!

You have a complex Sekar ! Contrary to your comments, M.Vijay has been given maximum number of chances and is yet to prove himself in any format. Still we chose to ignore Gambhir and Sehwag who average far higher than Vijay in all formats.

M.Vijay's test average for his 22 tests is similar to Gambhir and Sehwag's test average for their first 22 tests ... don't be biased, be Indian!

I have a ques - why are some players from North are given lot of chances as compared to players from South. Players were in the team for 1 year even though they did not perform well.Murali vijay has not be given chance for 6 months, grow up get the facts right.Don't get influenced by others becoz theay are all biased
We all know what he has done in the past and with the present worst form shown by Ashwin, it is evident that Ashwin does not deserve any place in the team. Bhajji MUST be called back. He is a fighter.

Yes, we have witness his variety in Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand and in the recent ended Asia Cup. Thanks for loving individuals and putting them ahead of the team. It is because of people like you majority of authorites in India have taken things for granted.

Sojji's record in the countries you have listed is as same as Ashwin, nothing great to mention. We need to groom a new spinner, particularly the ones who played recently in U-19 world cup.
As long as Dhoni is around, it is difficult to drop ashwin, raina, jadeja and all his bootlickers. Neither the cricketers nor the present govt (read congress) care about the honour of the country. They come, get selected/elected, show their presence here and there, loot, plunder and scoot. What IPL is for cricketers is MP schemes and "signature fees" for congress party members.

Yes Sharanu, Adaksh is right. Harbhajan is 'x' times better than Ashwin in performance - when giving interviews, not when performing on the field ...

Neelamegham... Harbhajan has taken 24 wickets at an average of 28 in the past year in Ranji...
Ashwin on the other hand is a bigggg disappointment to the Indian Cricket!!
Get your facts right before you paste ur comments about the best off spinner of this country (Harbhajan Singh)

going by his name, neelamegaham is sure to support ashwin. these people only think of IPL, not the nation.....absolute fanatics. I guess it is the water that makes them to forget about the nation.

Let me jog your memory, Bhajji has taken 22 wickets in 5 Ranji matches that he played this season. Open your eyes an be a support to the game not anti someone.

you are becoming anti someone by not recognise that ashwin is top 2 all rounder
