Brett Lee plays in the IPL, and was/is in Mumbai,when he said the above. Now the pertinent question is when Lee is in India, and doing promotional events with lodging and boarding paid by some Indian Co,he will say what his hosts want him to say. I would like to see what Lee says when he is back in Australia, or in a neutral venue.

In India it is always " Who is better". We pride ourselves in records. Since winning world cup , we are nose diving...whitewashes in Australia and England , almost whitewashes in Nzland and SA ... exiting Asia Cup even before final league match......and pending England/Australia tours........things are looking scary.... They say after hitting rock bottom , the only way is up. This Indian team however is in a mode of denial that they have hit rock bottom. They are still doing their best to dig even more deep to find what lies beneath a rock bottom........Proud to be an Indian(not).....
after all IPL money must have some value...alas they can't fix the disaster in the Asia cup by their IPL money which has nothing to do with sports. it is just a chamber of commerce run by capitalists...
Bowlers are in a betters position and can make better comparision of batsman in terms of level of ease or difficulty, as they would have battles against them.
Jaques kallis comments can be taken with a pinch of salt as he was a better batsman than a bowler. Therefore he was a lesser judge of a batsman as with his lower skills in bowling and would have hardly any battles to talk of with great batsman
The great bowlers during that particular era such Alan Donald, Shane warne, brett Lee with few exceptions have already put sachin ahead of his contemporaries.
Pak pak pak Pakistani and also most musalman's opinions should be totally ignored. As they would even rate fat lard Inzamam, insane afridi, and others ahead of sachin. For Obvious reasons
