Kallis plays for KKR in the IPL, which is owned by Sharukh Khan, a hated person by SS party & MCA, who have barred him from entering Wankhede Stadium till 2017. Therefore Kallis who has put Lara ahead of Sachin, being a Sharukh player could face boos from the Mumbai fans,who do not take any criticism of Sachin kindly.
as per my opinion, he is saying this because scahin the legend took all limelight from him & other legends like dravid,sarauv,laxman.80 % of gr8 players even the gr8 sir don bradman/lara praised the legend as a gr8.don't need a certificate from kallis for sachins gr8ness.well if i keep cricket apart so me any sport player who don't have any contreversy in such a long carrier.i dont admire much by cricket but because he is humble.even gr8 players like michal schemakar,roger fedrer & others praises him with many diffrenet field ppls also.

In my opinion the greatest is Gary Sobers of WI and in recent times the greatest is the kallis himself
Bowlers are in a betters position and can make better comparision of batsman in terms of level of ease or difficulty, as they would have battles against them.
Jaques kallis comments can be taken with a pinch of salt as he was a better batsman than a bowler. Therefore he was a lesser judge of a batsman as with his lower skills in bowling and would have hardly any battles to talk of with great batsman
The great bowlers during that particular era such Alan Donald, Shane warne, brett Lee with few exceptions have already put sachin ahead of his contemporaries.
Pak pak pak Pakistani and also most musalman's opinions should be totally ignored. As they would even rate fat lard Inzamam, insane afridi, and others ahead of sachin. For Obvious reasons
The three of them are retired cricketers. They are free to offer their opinions. They were good when they played as individuals and or part of the team.

It does make a difference to sachin Fan, it does. More so who has seen his battles against the pak pak fixers in Sharjah matches. He was the one who gave us so much respectable feeling. So much pride
We are totally greatful to sachin.
Only "true Indians" from that era can understand this. and definetely not Musalman's
Is it mandatory that every cricketer should hail SRT as the greatest? SRT is proclaimed the greatest only coz of the influence of BCCI. Is'nt even the greatest Indian cricketer.The Kapils and Dravids are the real greats. One could amass these nos if u r lucky enough to play int'l cricket for 25 yrs. What one does for his team is what matters. And SRT falls behind by a large margin. RTP is the biggest winner in Test cricket and world cups. SRT's CV has a WC only coz of the effort of others. Ponting, Lara, Dravid et al r greater than the hype.

Having played for 25 yrs itself is a great accomplishment and, that record might stay forever. It is not easy for a sports person to be fit and ready for so long. Give credit for that. Having said that, I do feel that Lara was the better batsman and, Kapil Dev the best Indian cricketer to-date in the Indian cricket.

i was only saying that he was extremely lucky to have been picked into the team at 16, when similarly talented kids some of whom never played for india
Is it even news? everybody knows it..y Lara even kallis himself was so much better than Sachin besides Ponting, Dravid, et al were so much better. the diff being the other players played for their countries whereas Sachin played only for records..personal records hence he has more records than all of them combined but that does not make him the best!
