South African cricket team especially the senior's were labelled as chokers, as they used to falter in the crucial stages of the tournament. In 1999 world cup they would have almost lifted the world cup but for the suicidal run of lance klusener with allan donald refusing to move out from his crease. Earlier in 1996 world cup the senior team lost in quarter finals to west Indies after having dominated the matches in the qualifying rounds and again in the last world cup in 2011 they were knocked out by New Zealand, when they could have applied their strength and lifted the world cup. anyway now that the chokers tag is lifted by the juniors it will take away the mental block from the seniors. Who knows they may lift the next world cup in 2015.
