Team combination for this tour itself is pathetic 1. No fire power at 4/5/6/7 spots this will definitely RUIN chances unless untill other teams play badly or Dhawan/Kohli win you match single handedly chasing 300 scores 2. Ashwin/Jadeja at max can retrict the sub-continental batsman forget about troubling them Ashwin/Jadeja at max can restrict the sub-continental teams.....
Ipandey/Mishra should be playing
Best combination with available options Dhawan/Rahane/Kohli/Raidu/Rohit/Dkarthik/Jadeja/Amishra/Mshami/Bkumar/Ipandey
Otherwise for ODI WCUP BEST 15 1. Dhawan 2. Gambhir - No second thoughts 3. Kohli 4. Yuvraj - No second thoughts 5. Dhoni 6. DKarthik only if RAINA is outof form 7. Jadeja 8. Harbajan 9. Ipathan 10. Bkumar 11. M shami 12. Ipandey/Raidu/Rahane/Uyadav
Three things decided the fate in this match: 1.comparitively very poor fielding. 2.Instead of Binny, mishra should have been included in a turning track. 3.Buvaneswar kumar should have bowled continuosly from the beginning,in the end overs he is useless.

4 ashwin and jadeja should havbeen used at 48th and 49th over. 5 binny or karthik should bat at 04. the most importent reason for india's difeet is fielding. something happent to dhawan yesterday.

Please explain, whether Rohit,Raydu,Binny,Rahane are better batsman than Chetaswar Pujara. specially when we are planning a team for WC in Australia.

(contd.)Virat still seems to have confidence in Rohit Sharma which is indeed commendable and in that case he should choose one between the two wicket keeper batsmen Rayudu and Karthik with Pujara taking place of the other. Incidentally Dinesh Karthink’s Rs 12.5 crs swagger was in ample display in his wicket keeping and batting in the two matches so far! No wonder likes of Bedi do not have very kind words for IPL! Fielding needs to improve as already mentioned. Coming to bowling it was heartening to see the spinners almost win the match for the side and to find Ashwin among wickets! We can only hope Ashwin gets necessary professional assistance to get over his crisis of bowling action, confidence level etc. Pace attack: Md Shami ,though a bit wayward with the new ball returned with much better death over spells. Given that B Kumar is proving too expensive in death overs It is worth trying out Ishwar Pandey. Even a 3rd spinner can be tried out given the conditions of slow turner wickets seen so far.
Game of cricket is a very cruel leveller for sure!Only a day before a confident and relaxed Virat was on the top of the world with the entire media and cricket fans telling the whole world that he could do no wrong! But just two days later the same somewhat downcast looking Virat is trying his best to explain away the narrow loss to SL! Is Dhoni being missed ? As captain, No however as wk- batsman-cum finisher, yes ! Although many of his explanations are not convincing however it must be admitted to his credit that he did make things happen to turn a match the SLans were running away with initially into a close last over finish! It was Sanga yet again like umpteen times before whom India couldn’t tame! Virat did his best during the course of the game but missed chances to great extent were to blame for the losses. Where Kohli went wrong was in repeating Dhoni‘s mistake of chosing a playing XI and not being able to use the resources to full. Stuart Binny has to bat up the order at no 4 or 5 or else he doesn’t maker it to playing XI based on his bowling. The repeated picking but under usage of Binny casts doubt if the team management and the selectors are on the same page! Is jr Binny being thrust on the side ?
