Narayanaswamy Srinivasan is an excellent choice for the being the first chairman of the International Cricket Council. He and his family have promoted cricket in Madras and India for more than 50 years. Srinivasan had spent a lot of his personal money for the advancement of cricket, regardless of what people say. He is a distinctly superior candidate as compared to to several non-cricketers in power such as Sharad Pawar, Jagmohan Dalmia, Jaywant Lele, Ratnakar Shetty, or Arun Jaitely. Once you do not have an internationally renowned cricketer as ICC chairman or president, then Srinivasan is the best choice. No one realizes the sacrifices that he had made to promote cricket in India for over four decades.

He is better than Lalit Modi and Sharad Pawar to become the chair of ICC. In principle, such posts should go to prominent Test players and all-time greats in the world like Gavaskar, Sobers, Lara, Kallis, Tendulkar, Chapell(s), Waugh(s), etcetera.
Congratulations Mr.Srinivasan. The first Tamilian to lead the ICC , we are proud. I know there are some controversy which is going on but I know it’s no way related to you. There are some culprits who are against you but you showed them how calibre, strong & patience you are with this selection. Ask them to prove that you are guilty instead of raising false case on you. You can’t give bigger slap than this for Punjab cricket association who filed a case against you in SC not to elected as ICC president. All the best do well….

Would you prefer Lalit Modi or Sharad Pawar to lead ICC?! You should be kidding; Srinivasan is a good choice among non-cricketing persons.
It is painful that a person whose honesty and creibility has been questioned by the Apex Court of the country with adequate convincing reasons has become the most powerful man to control the world cricket. Shame BCCI who have felt proud in it.
ICC is nothing but an international version of BCCI. Both are personal clubs of few individuals like Srinivasan. These people are patronized by sycophants like BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel
