Consistent failures and hyped under-achievers like Yuvraj Sigh and Dinesh Karthik must be eliminated from consideration for the following IPL season. The same old bandicoots should not be allowed to earn big money without solid perfroamnces. We ought to see new talent nurtured and rewarded.

The money paid for the players who have been retained in the same team from the earlier season (2013 IPL) has not been disclosed and are not considered in our analysis.

This is an incomplete analysis as players retained are not considered. You will not be able to compare between a retained player and a newly purchased player at the auction
