Yeah last IPLs RCB was loaded with Bangalore players a lot and they failed to win them as well... in fact RCB was having lots of players from Karnataka for the last 6 editions... used to wonder how they were giving chances to so many people from same region...

Murali Vijay as an IPL player!!
by subrat sahoo on Jun 03, 2014 12:31 PM  | Hide replies

Murali Vijay would be the worst buy for an ipl! I wonder how come he is bought even at his base player, as I dont remember contributing to a T20 so significantly ever. He doesnt deserve to be in Test. He should find a place himself in India Cements and settle down with the dust!!
Purchase of YUvraj is a huge gamble and is done with his time!! Mallya's receding luck (on all quarters) is taking toll on Yuvi, as a result he is not able to fire the way he was expected to! RIP, RCB!!!

this IPL he was not doing well.. when he was in CSK in the previous editions he was successful... based on his IPL performances he even got a Test call...

he is the only indian to have 2 IPL centuries and one 95 also

2013 ipl him and hussey had the most 50 plus partnerships compared to any team.

he performs after midway of IPL usually. unfortunately delhi did so bad, they kept rotating players and it included him too.

he is not bad.

Gayle I mean... in fact their overdependence on Gayle costed them more than Yuvi's

Gayle was suffering from a back injury all throughout the tournament. But RCB stuck with him as Gayle can single handedly win matches on his own. But he's 34 now and age would take its toll
