Although India played badly but the fact remains England after making the three changes looked completely different side.Return to form of Cook seemed to have also helped him as the captain too with every move of his clicking. His bowling changes and the way he turned his part time bowler Moeen Ali into a winner is simply admirable. All that the spinner did was to bowl accurately in the right areas ,outside the off-stump and the result was there to see! Best part of captaincy was the way he laid traps for Rohit Sharma,Rahane etc. to make them hit out outside the ring of fielders leaving the boundaries open.Both the Indian batsmen fell for it and that was the turni8ng point of downfall of the Indian side.The young WK Butler was also a revelation and far superior to Matt Prior in every deptt.The most effective improvement was the bowling of pacers,especially Jimmi Anderson.He made all the difference that saw the transformations of the two sides in the reverse directions. In fact in the Ashes series he was nowhere near the form seen at Rose bowl and was taken to the cleaners by the Aussies.In one particular Test Jimmi Anderson was it for 26 runs by George Bailey ! It’s a terrific turnaround and should he miss the next two Tests then perhaps India might stand a chance .
Difference between England and our bowlers is that the englanders bowl more percentage of there balls persistently in wicket taking areas as compared to us. U can guess it once u see. Disciplined test bowling propels batsmen to make mistake no matter who he is. Vice VERSA Our test bowlers balled exactly opposite. Regards
