Sorry to say this on good occasion like festival, but India will remain a poor, poverty ridden country with uncontrollable population and resources. May people in this country get wisdom here to think logical and practical as those who were vouching for Modi thinking India will become developed have been proved wrong. Problem is not Modi, We agree he is honest work towards nation and better than Congress, but the base of which his party runs has corrupt and criminal ministers like Amit Shah, Gadkari, Yedurappa and has communal alliance partners like Shiv Sena. Neither these MP's will allow to remove corruption, nor communism because their shop will get close as a party like Shiv Sena thrives on these agenda since its formation and they have their share of followers too.
Now one of the four Asian tigers Hong Kong has become first world countries. They are called four Asian tigers because Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan they have become rich very quickly in short time. Reason Hong Kong separated from China and now their per capita income is more than USA. Singapore merged with Malaysia and then separated. Since it is much easy to lead a small nation and control or else if you want to run a big country like India, then run it like China.
The outdated Indian constitution which was written during British era is only giving advantage to politicians and no one else. If India was union of stats some states would have prospered

am proud of these 4 Asian tigers- Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea and Taiwan. Asian Tigers are reference given to these countries since Hong Kong with per capita of 53200 USD, Singapore with 78774 USD, korean with 33,200 usd, taiwan with 40,000 usd per anum which is higher than usa salaries which is at 52,000 USD per year.
These south east asian nation are giving neck to neck competition to west in standard of living, growth and lifestyle. All the above economies have grown 500 times in last 10 years.
Why? because they were small nations, easy to manage, more autocratic rule, very very strict law like in Singapore and Hong Kong direct death penalty for drugs traffickers

Out of these four Asian Tigers, Singapore stood out amongst these four even though Hong Kong is very close to Singapore in terms of Salary, business environment and job opportunities. Singapore stood out because first it is headquarter of Asia Pacific or gateway to Asia Pacific because APAC has regional, language and cultural challenges to communicate. Singapore remained center because it has people of all region, its port is in middle, has multicultural environment, strict law, religious pluralism and no discrimination and considered as an equal society since the very foundation of Singapore was equality as their human resource which is their educated work professional are their only resource competes to world.
Proud of these countries and skilled, educated, civilized, well mannered and smart people can try these luck in these countries and do not run and beg after usa or uk visa.. Rest uncivilized, illiterate, fekus, communal people like our politicians can remain in this country which will never improve....

I along with many liberals are not proud of Pakistan, Arab or pro Pakistan.
For me Singapore is a role mode country where there is religous plurism. In my life I never thought any of our Asian countries would give competition of Europe or USA.
I am proud of Singapore, I am proud of Lee Kuan Yew who transformed Singapore from one of the poorest to third richest country. I am proud of Singapore constitution which says Singapore is an equal society and anyone tries to divide it on basis of religion would be dealt with strictest punishment. I am proud of Singapore people to have reached the stage where they are today.

U r right sameer but I hope ur comments are unbiased bcz I strictly believe govt shud work widout considering religion but prob is Islamists r too loyal towards its religion as it only believes in monoculture bcz of which other religion or faiths which are dot are also taking hard stance and dis is a win win situation for a politicians. Islam need to quickly get rid of hardliners
