half the distance he is now standing will be magic sir say 2 feet behind the stumps instead of 4 feet he can bend his back & collect ball & do stumping at 2 feet distance ok

in an interview in cricinfo, Syed Kirmani agrees with Dhoni's strategy to create doubts in the batsman's mind and make him step out and try to play the ball.

Being in the field, surely Dhoni must be knowing what and why he is doing.

Somebody please tell faroukh that MSD was standing up to right handed batsmen and had two slip fielders as ball was spinning viciously to slips. But, in case of left handers as the ball would spin to leg side and only one fielder could be placed there as per ICC rules, he stood behind.
