Just surprised to see samson playing at number 7. there was a lot of discussion on the talent he is having and fast tracking him to the senior team. If that is the objective then i think he should have played at 4 considering his ability and technical aspects of the game.It's getting players play on the right position and plan ahead, so there transition get smoother. Also it will be great if we fast track samson so that we can build a deputy to kohli.
Just thinking about the strategy of batting samson at no 7.There was a lot of discussion on how much talented he is and fast tracking him to the senior team.So it will be a good exercise for the A team management to discuss with the senior management on what they forsee on each player, and get them play to that level. Samson is technically good and he should be instilled on to play to that level and future for senior team. Also it will be good to get him tested to find out that we are not over hyped about the lad also have a back up leadership plan for kohli, as samson is level headed and cool in his approach.
