I am very happy that Jadeja had the last laugh when he ran out Anderson and won the match for India at Lords.

Arrogance has lead to the downfall of every player, and Anderson / Cook are no exceptions.

It is criminal getting out in a Test Match, particularly by a Tail ender, in this fashion, as if it was the last ball & only one run for win.

I am not SV to be paid to praise or criticize anybody. If they play well, I praise them. Else, I criticize them.

I repeat, I dont care if they are Dhoni'sChamchas or anybody else's.. If you havent got it till now, you probably would never. Never thought that you were worth speaking with, but replied just to make things clear.

Thanks for the compliments beta. Thanks for trying really hard to appear as an "unpaid" blogger. If you "resisted" yourself also, it wouldnt matter much to anybody.

Hmmm ...

"Interestingly, this is also India's first Test victory since the retirement of legendary Sachin Tendulkar, having drawn three and lost two of the five Tests played since the iconic cricketer's retirement in November 2013" - Is this the reason for India's victory ?

Bhubneshwar Kumar has taken highest wickets and scored highest runs in total in the two test matches.

I hope he gets man of the series.

fantastic hostile bowling by Dhoni
by wcpak on Jul 21, 2014 08:17 PM  | Hide replies

is ever I have seen another hostile spell by an Indian fast bowler, it was by Ishant himself to Ponting at Perth, probably in 2008.

Above all, Dhoni's captaincy was brilliant.

Ishant was hesitating to bowl short pitch. It was Dhoni who told him that you are the tallest and try short pitch. This Ishant_revealed while getting MOM.
