Cricket is not famous in every country.

If Russia played cricket she would know about SRT. 99% Americans have not heard about SRT or SRK. How many world famous Russian Ice skaters does SRT know about? Just because India has a population explosion issue does not mean the whole world should know every famous person in India.

nick,
Its not the question of who knows whom.

The bait was thrown by the media reporter and Maria just reponded to it.

I would rather take the reporter into task for asking such an irrelevant question in first place. Majority of the press create gossips by asking such questions.

Maria should just have replied with "no comments" as soon as she senses such a bait. Well, but then this comes with experience.

Do you ever wonder why SRT is so calculative when it comes to talking to media. This Maria case is a classic example.
