If you just see statistics, Ishant was the highest wicket tker in the last series which India played in NZ. He picked 14 wickets in the 2 test seriea. Infact, Zaheer was lack lustre. Even in IPL Zaheer was carted all over before he escaped injured
It is time for Mr Dhoni to rotate the bowlers as relatively all are new. Mr Shami at one end, he can rotate Pankaj, Pandey,Bhvi at the other end.If Ishant really does well it is good for India to try and win the series as England has not done well against Srilanka.We wish Dhoni and company all the best. But batsmen have to live up to their potential.
Even a 70 to 80% fit zaheer in a good rhythem can be more dangarous that Ishant...but Ishant will get wickets this time as Bhuvi and Shami are a lot better and accurate than him...so if english players dont get scoring opportunity againest them then they will target Ishant which can yeild him wickets....Infact thats how he has picked up 150 plus wickets in test...
