A big fiasco
by K N on Feb 01, 2014 02:59 PM

Pathetic batting and Worst bowling.
You cannot select and determine just based on Ranji trophy performance or IPL form. every player has to perform at highest level. Team selection was very poor. every time you cannot get fours and sixes to win matches. you should take singles and twos spoil the rhytm of the bowlers and score heavily. Indians need to watch hook and pullshot clippings of Roy Fredricks of west Indies.for running between wickets Asif Iqbal and Javed Miandad of Pakistan. why Dhoni did not use pujara, .his difference with Zaheer,Harbhajan, shewag has been the downfall for every one.Yuvaraj should have been given chance. poor treatment to Binny . They should be fined for throwing wickets. when we have so many video clippings why deficiency cannot be analysed and cleared. players can approach Gavaskar, shastri, Tendulkar, dravid, Ganguly to sort out their deficiency. Nurturing and bringing them to top level and continuous improvement led us for victory and status. complacency and accolades have doomed the nation.
Fail- fisrst attempt in learning
No- Next opportunity
End- effort never dies. these quotes from Abdul Kalam to be positive. analyse and get good allrounders who can perform at International level, who can bat bowl field etc. we need to defend worldcup and we can do it . believe in yourself

Indian cricket board is a joke
by Varadarajan Ravindran on Feb 01, 2014 12:17 AM

The Indian cricket board always advocates a policy of stability and continuity. Duncan Fletcher is a useless coach who does not provide any technical improvement. The fat slob loses one foreign series after another regardless of the quality of the opposition. Nevertheless, the indian cricket board appoints him for over five years to maintain stability and continuity in losing all the matches. A captain with two series white-washes in Tests will be sacked by any respectable cricket board. Dhoni and Fletcher are enjoying the status of Markhandeya, living for ever, although the team suffers multiple deaths.

Why Blame the coach
by SLR on Jan 31, 2014 10:38 PM  | Hide replies

If players do not perform why blame the coach. He trains all players equally. If they do not perform on a given day due to various reasons the coach can't be blamed. why not sack the players for a change.

As per your logic, we don't need a coach at all..player needs to perform on their own...do u know the responsibilities of a coach..why we have a position like and pay huge amount to that position..

Rohit has "talent", Ishant has ??, Raina is a good player (but confused about his role and inconsistent at this moment).. I am surprised why Ishant is not in the team given the untiring support from Dhoni / selectors..

Add Ashwin to the list. He is supposed to be our lead spinner but hardly takes any wickets.
