If not for Indian pitches, Indian cricket team is the last in all format of the game. With IPL and foreign players getting used to Indian pitches its only a matter of time when we will loose all local matches as well. BCCI should do something or the GOlden Goose will be lost for ever
any humble or hard working cricker will realize after series of flop shows that he needs to work on his bowling and may go back to nets or to seniors like Prasanna or Bhajji to get some advice...instead this man says he is not listning to anybody and is happy with his show...after picking a lot of wickets againest 3rd grade teams at home and with huge backing from the team manegement he might have started considering himself as a champion..this is what huge money from IPL and Dhoni Srini combo has bought in Indian cricket....

mahesh pargaonkar..third grade teams...? when they play in their own country they become first grade, but when they play india they become third grade...and blame everyone funny guy..

Madan menon u seems to evaluate a player on the basis of statistics...Lets not talk about Ashwin's record outside India..its worst than a part time bowler...95 out of his 104 wkts are in India...In 95 wkts 81 in 14 matches againest West Indies , New Zealand and Australia which were surely B grade teams when they played here...only team which came with preparation was england againest whom he picked 14 wkts in 4 matches....all this clearly shows that until now he has been effective only in India and that too againest weak teams....I hope he either changes this arrogant attitude to show that I am the best or gets kicked off from the team...
ashwin took the most importent wicket in the last matche. ashwin can bowl at any stage of the matche. he will bowl during the first powerplay[1 to 10 overs] he can bowl during the last stages of the match...

neither guptill, nor ronchi , nor southee.., i guess if a wicket comes after a long time it's bound to be 'important' ... 2-426 in ~100 ovs and counting..not wickets but runs..

If the top order lose their patience and fall like a dry leaves, let the bottom order prove themselves, its a opportunity for them to show their hidden talents. But please for god sake 76/4 will paint badly for indians.

If you are not listening, then how do you know people are talking? Man you have godfathers (more than one) so enjoy you stay in the team. But as cricket lovers we are disappointed because we want to see cricket not puppets.

yeah he is listening and not playing good at the moment. I dont think he is puppet but not effective in pace pitches, which he may fix or get dropped!

He cannot get distracted by some loud mouth who could not even stand to play pacemen or even bend down to pick a ball in his hey days..... I lived through the Prassanna, Bedi, Chandra era....
