now it has come to a point were it seems apparantely that dhoni doesn't want competition in for places in the team .. so secure himself and his future,,,,which is a saddenning for millions of cricket fans in india
We have Dinda and VRV Singh back after injury and bowling over 140km.. Who says no bowlers are there. Its dirty politics. Even today Bhajji better than ashwin but alas he dosent play for CSK

Bajji is no more in contention, he should take wickets in domestic cricket to prove.

Bhajji is not better than Ashwin. He was and not is. Bhajji couldnt take (m)any wickets in domestic cricket too. Better see some other option
Folks, what about Raina? What is he in the team for? in the last 3 years be it T20 or ODI his performances are abyssmal!! And he gets an A grade contract!! A grade contract is meant for people who are permanent fixtures in all 3 formats or dominant players!! What has Raina done to continue in the team and also get that contract!!

That A grade contract money is nothing as compared to the money he must be earning via endorsement!

Nobody can stop anybody from earning money, that is a different issue.

Do selectors get a cut in contract money ? Joke is the chief selector
Many a times the following is noted. 1) Dhoni gives bowling late to Shami 2) Even he gives him to bowl he allots him less overs 3) Especially when Shami takes 4 wickets and close to take 5 wickets, Dhoni avoids to give him bowling 4) When situation is under control i.e, 7-8 wickets of opponents are out he totally ignores Shami 5) When situation is not under control then he gives chance Shami to bowl 6) And last but no the least when opponent is in full swing he gives ball to Shami to bowl last over Because if such Dhoni's tactics future of Shami is at stake.....from above it is very clear Dhoni is not in favour to flourish career of bowler like Shami... Selectors are also aware of this but they are mute spectators...When Dhoni will stop discriminating???
Re: And why Dhoni is not backing Shami??

A true performer can perform at any stage wether given early or late. shoul try to grab the opportunity. There are tactics in every trade.
Even after removing Ishant we tried both Vinay Kumar and Mohit Sharma,They were also equally disappointing.Hence Dhoni went back to IShant. This shows that either selection process is wrong or we Indians dont have good Fast bowlers who can bowl consisitently above 140km/h and with good length. We dont have world class flast bowlers. We need to train them and give exposure to youngsters at International level
Re: No other good fast bowlers to replace Ishant

Ishant Sharma is genuine fast bowler. His ball travels much faster after meeting the bat.
