Obsession with the selection?

After the defeat in test series and ODIs against South Africa, Indian team has started their tour of New Zealand with two consecutive defeats in the ODIs and have lost their top slot in the ICC ranking to Australia.

Surprisingly the team management has not learnt anything and has shown immense reluctance in changing the players and giving others a chance to prove their worth. Dhoni has his bias towards some players and continue to include them in the playing eleven irrespective of their performances.

What has Ashwin done so far in the last 5 ODIs played overseas (3 in South Africa and 2 against New Zealand)recently? Does he deserve a place in the playing eleven?

Ravindra Jadeja's continuous inclusion and constant failures are certainly a worry for the team but he still gets a chance in the playing eleven. Why?

Ishant Sharma is bowling like a novice yet finds a place in the playing eleven. Why?

We have other players who are selected and are sitting in the dressing room as mere spectators. Why aren't they given a chance by Dhoni? What is he waiting for?

If he doesn't want to change the plying eleven, I guess it is time to change him with someone else.

this is not a good ODI side

This is not a good ODI side in foreign tour. Rohit, Dhawan, Jadeja , Ashwin and Raina play well only on Indian subcontinent. In good bowling conditions these batsemen are watse and both spinners failed on many occassions. We need Pujara in the ODI team to keep wicket in hand. Also Gambhir to open the batting. Take Ojha instead of Jadeja as Ojha is a better spinner and Harbhajan for Ashwin. Otherwise keep on losing matches in AUS, SA, ENGAND NZ
