BUT WHY BCCI HAVE TO RUSH TO COURTS EVERY NOW AND THEN ?
by damodaran mohan on Jan 06, 2014 07:22 PM

Yes, Ganguly's advice to Dhinda is a sensible advice for youngsters in general.Only problem is the opacity of BCCI functioning and the way the richest Board in the world is required to rush to courts every now and then on virtually every matter of its administration is making people cynical. Add to that the fact most of the past cricketers and legends assigned with plum posts have been silenced.! Although it is not in my knowledge if BCCI had to rush to courts on matters of selection of Indian side so far but I will not be surprised if that too happens in not very distant future! Just look at the selection of son Stuart Binny by dad selector Roger Binny while many much better performers and more deserving cricketers appear to have been sidelined ! should they exercise court option ? The Indian One day side which got solid drubbing in SA is weak in batting with a gaping hole in the middle order needed to be plugged !Is Stuart Binny the right choice to fill this hole ? Can he deliver against the resurgent one day side Kiwis with their latest batting sensations Corey Anderson eclipsing Afridi’s fastest century record ? Shouldn’t a solid Pujara be part of the side ? Can this Indian side beat the Kiwis ? Isn’t Binny a poor substitute for Pujara ? May be somebody will have to go to court to find it out.
