This is not the first time Malinga has cried away from training,even 2-3 years prior to Sri Lanka team's tour of England Malinga feigned injury, and did not go to England,but continued to play for MI in the IPL. SLCA wanted to take severe action against him,but the clout of BCCI & MI prevailed and the rogue Malinga was let off with a reprimand.
