Once in a blue moon contributions of Sir Jadeja as batsman (Bajji also have contributed many times as batsman)
Bhajji is a world class bowler who is a victim of politics and its heartning to see ur hate comments on indias best off spinner... just because you want ur local hero to be in the team....
Some m0r0nns say that Bhajji fid not perform in Ranji... as Ganguli pointed out that he has taken 24 wkts in Ranji and 22 in IPL... that is a tremendous performance!!!
So let us not play regional politics and accept that Bhajji is 10000 times better a bowler than an Ashwin or a Ojha or a Mishra...

Last few Season of IPL he was pretty IMPRESSIVE in bowling commanding respect from BIG BIG hitters of the game and troubling them. On any day out of form Hbajan fares far better than ASHWIN

well said Adaksh. Bhajji's anti people are more aggressive then his fans. But Bhajji is the best an will remain best. Ashwin is no where when compare to Bhajji. I am sue Bhajji will soon be in the team.
I am sick of hearing this from people who lack commensense...... 1. T20 Wcup - This is only due to Yuvraj's brillience where Dhoni has hardly any contribution as player through out this Wcup victories and for GODs sake please know this is first series of Dhoni as captain so credit a captain when he builds a team T20 is just IMPACT game any player can impact the whole outcome of the seires
2. ODI Wcup - Except finals DHoni has no contributions as player in the whole series here also major contributors are Yuvraj(man of seires) and Zak highest wicket tacker both of whom are backed to core by Ganguly always so this team was actually built by Ganguly......please note Kohli also had little contributions in this Wcup and no RAINA
World knows Yuvraj/Zak/Hbajan/Sehwag are always backed to core by ganguly

Nobody is saying Dhoni is better than yuvraj in batting .. what we are saying is that he is got shrewdness which is why we won the world cup. Look at ganguly in the wcup finals when we had the best line up in the world he could not inspire and win the world cup. Looks at Dhoni in wcup finals and how he stood there by promiting hisself when both the openers fell with Gambhir and scored the crucial runs. When azhar gave the best line up in the world to Ganguly in a platter, how he insulted them by losing number of finals. That is why Dhoni is a legend and Danguly is a average captain..

you idot..yes Ganguly had best batting line up against what...the best team world has ever seen ie Australia with their full strenght..compared to Dhoni.against Srilanka.(they were good but not the best srilankan team)....

Buddy please refresh your mind Ganguly took over the captaincy when INDIA was in MESS of Match FIXINGS and lost few players......we only have 3 or 4 IMPACT PLAYERS then Sachin/Kumble/Dravid/Ganguly Do you agree Yuvraj/Sehwag/Hbajan/Zak owe their carriers to GANGULY?
INFACT DHONI got mix of LEGNEDS & SUPERSTARS check the batting line up DHONI inherited then you will understand... Sehwag/Gambhir/Sachin/Laxman/Yuvraj/Zak/Hbajan/Dravid Dhoni majority of the team are IMPACT PLAYERS that is how we won WCUPS & TEST NO.1

One AUS team in that finals have Gilli/Hayden/Pontin/Warne/Mcgrath 5 legends now if you look LEGNEDS(or in MAKING) all world together will have hardly 5 that is the quality of the TEAMS We have today

Do you know how Kapil dev won against the mighty west indies. We were just not even comparable to the mighty west indies but still we won. Look at pak team when they worn the world cup, how imram stood there and deolivered. You see a pattern here, any great captain like Kapil, imran etc all stood there when it mattered. Dhoni stood there when it mattered. But Ganguly did not live upto the expectation which makes him an ordinary captain. A captain job is to get the best out of the team. How many finals did we lose.. there is a pattern of losing finals..Ifyou are telling me the line up of
Sehwag/Gambhir/Sachin/Laxman/Yuvraj/Zak/Hbajan/Dravid is not good enough, the I do not agree with you. All the above players were at their best and prime irrespective of legend or not, but Gangu failed then and insulted them. That day itself all the above would hahve become legends..

Forget about pattern talk about quality of World cricket teams the current w cricket teams deserve to be in PLATE2 playing along side qualifying nations......you pick up finest players playing currently from all the TEAMS the number will be equivalent to what each of AUS/SA/PAK/SL/IND ONE COUNTRY I Repeat....each country have half dozen of LEGENDS at that point of time
Wcup final why did DHONI needs to come up when Yuvraj has DONE it for INDIA all series WINNING matches with his performance????? What did dhoni do all the series (ODI Wcup & T20 Wcup)

All it takes is one good delivery and when Murali was around do you think you want to take a chance by sending Yuvraj or you want to keep youraj to finish the match. Had that been Ganguly he would have sent yovraj and who knows what would have happened. With the numbe of finals lost under him I can pretty much assume what would have happened. This is where Dhoni is superier to Ganguly, he is superier in thinking and sharp. That is the reason why we won the world cup. Becasue Dhoni knows his batting abilities hence promoted himself and bit a gamble too. And guess what fortune always favors the brave. How many times have we not seen when a main players falls down and the rest falls like pack of cards.. Since murali played for csk Dhoni read his googly from close and hence promoted himself. Imagine what would have happened if we had lost that match, we would have kicked Dhoni out of the team by now. This is how a legendary captain utilizes his strengths and weaknesses..
Reg quality of players, we all know that Sachin has chasing issues and sehwag 50/50, only Yuvraj and Gambhir were playing in batting and bowling only Zaheer. Not even Dhoni was at his best until the final. But look at Dhoni how he pulled himself from the rut and scored runs in the final when we most required. Now that Icall legendary.. That is how legends perform by pulling there selves from nowhere. Do you know remember kapils 175 when were in dire straights. Do you remember the Richards catch that Kapil took.

all bullshit!..without gambhir's innings...all these so called knowledge of Dhoni would have failed to do anything...no doubt he is greatest finisher in ODI...but please other than keeping...he is no greater than Ganguly in any aspect of Cricket...whether it is batting...bowling...and ganguly had the best brain' required for a captain...Dhoni had simply replaced it with LUCK...which is now finishing...

I would have agreed with you had Dhoni win only the worldcup, but consistantly proved that by winning many cups.. that is where Ganguly failed misarably. he consistantly failed at the finals get it now..?

Also when you have entirely new team at your disposal, it takes sometime to settle down. The last 10 matches that we lost, half of them were sacrificed for the aging seniors and the rest the new guys are settling down.. If you look carefully, we did not do that bad either.. no captian can do anything if a single wicket is not taken by bowlers for two days..
Reg ganguly captaincy, there were more antics than actual wins.. so there is no way he can be compared to legendary Dhoni
Both Harbhajan Singh and Gautam Gambhir are victims of politics. I have stopped watching cricket matches since these two talented players have been dropped.
Those who r saying harbhajan is out of form, he got 22 wickets in lat IPL and has proved himself again and again many times. But his critics prefer to look at only his bad performances.
Ganguly seems to be going unusually strong for Bhajji and rubbishing Mishra to make Bhajji seem good. Mishra has not been given any fair chance and is the best leg spinner today. He is also almost as good a bat as Ashwin.It is high time he was tried in place of Ashwin.( And I say this even if I hail from Chennai)
Ganguly's faith in his old team mates is touching but too sentimental for the good of Indian cricket.

I remember Mishra was also tried during our last ENGLAND tour but worth giving try than useless Ashwin/jadeja infact mishra can contribute more than Jadeja as batsman
bhaaji nowdays miserably out of form. moreover he attitude and charecter will not inspire young players in the team. he shud announce retirement and start sitting inside the commentary box. it's sad that most of our cricketers does not pave way to youngsters and wud like to cling to team till they are forcibly dropped
